How much does root canal treatment cost?
In your first appointment a fixed consultation fee ($300) is charged inclusive of all clinical and radiographic examinations (intraoral and 3D x-rays). An estimate including all item numbers is provided after which can be used to determine private insurance rebates.
Fees charged depend on the number of canals in the tooth being treated (Anterior- 1-2, Premolar- 1-2, Molar-3-4). Re-treatment of existing root canal treated teeth is more time consuming and technically difficult and is charged at a different rate to untreated teeth.
Primary Endodontic Treatment
In teeth which have not been previously root filled the a fixed fee is charged based on the number of canals treated.
Single Canal $2000, Two Canals $2300, Three or more or more Canals $2800.
Endodontic Retreatment
In teeth which have not been previously root filled the a fixed fee is charged based on the number of canals treated.

Endodontic Surgery
A procedure which involves manipulation of soft tissues, bone and surgical resection of infected root tips.
The cost of treatment varies depending on the complexity of the surgery from $2500-3000.
